Choose your permissions
Permissions let you choose which phone features VerbinderApp can use.
- Open Contacts in VerbinderApp.
- When the system asks for contact access, follow the prompts to choose what to allow.
- If you allow selected contacts only, include the people you want VerbinderApp to find.
Contacts
Contact access helps you find people you know who already use VerbinderApp and select them when inviting participants.
You can continue using other parts of the app if you decline access, but finding people through your phone contacts depends on this permission.
Only contacts included in your permission selection can be used for matching.
If you previously declined
Open Contacts in VerbinderApp.
Tap Settings on the access message.
In your iPhone settings, change VerbinderApp’s contact access.
Return to VerbinderApp.
Notifications
Notifications help you notice invitations and updates without keeping the app open. A system permission prompt may appear after registration.
See Choose which notifications you receive to choose which updates you want.
Calendar access
Connecting Apple Calendar lets VerbinderApp use the device calendars you select. You can choose which calendars provide appointments for scheduling and which receive copies of your events.
