Delete an event you were invited to
Choose whether to decline the invitation before removing the event.
- Open the invitation from Inbox → Events → Invitations.
- Tap the red trash icon at the top right.
- In Delete event?, choose whether to enable Decline event before deleting.
- Read the calendar-removal message, then tap Delete. Tap Cancel to keep the event.
- Open the invitation from Events → Invitations.
- Tap the red trash icon at the top right.
- Choose whether to enable Decline Event before deletion. With this option enabled, the confirmation says participants will see that you declined.
- Read the calendar-removal message, then tap Delete. Tap Cancel to keep the event.
To decline but keep the invitation available in case you change your response, use Decline in the event details instead.
