Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 3, 2026

VerbinderApp is a phone-number-based scheduling and calendar coordination application. It helps users create, receive, accept, decline, and manage events and time polls with people they know, using their phone number, contacts, and calendars.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data VerbinderApp collects, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices you have. It applies to the VerbinderApp mobile applications, website, and related services.

VerbinderApp is designed around a simple principle: scheduling should be easy, but your calendar data should remain private. For this reason, integrations with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and device calendars are handled locally on your device. We do not upload your Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or device calendar content to VerbinderApp servers.

1. Who we are

VerbinderApp UG provides a scheduling application that allows users to coordinate events and time polls through their phone number, contacts, and calendars.

For questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at:

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies when you use:

  • the VerbinderApp mobile application;
  • VerbinderApp account features;
  • phone-number-based contact discovery;

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services that VerbinderApp does not control. For example, if you use Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, iCloud, or your device calendar, those services may process your data under their own privacy policies and account settings.

3. Key privacy principles

VerbinderApp follows these principles:

  1. User control: You decide whether to grant access to contacts, calendars, notifications, and calendar integrations.
  2. Local calendar privacy: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and device calendar integrations are handled locally on your device. VerbinderApp does not upload external calendar data to its servers.
  3. Purpose limitation: We use personal data only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve VerbinderApp.
  4. Data minimization: We aim to collect only the information needed to provide the service.
  5. No sale of personal data: We do not sell your personal data.
  6. No advertising use of contacts or calendars: We do not use your contacts, calendar data, Google Calendar data, Apple Calendar data, or event content for targeted advertising.

4. Personal data we collect

4.1 Account information

When you create or use a VerbinderApp account, we may collect:

  • your phone number;
  • country code;
  • display name;
  • profile photo, if you choose to add one;
  • account status;
  • account creation date;
  • language and region preferences;
  • authentication or verification information, such as one-time verification codes or verification status;
  • optional email address, if you provide one for support, account recovery, or another account-related purpose.

We use this information to create and maintain your account, authenticate you, help other users identify you in scheduling flows, prevent misuse of the service, and provide support.

4.2 Contacts information

VerbinderApp is phone-number-based. Your phone number is used as a primary identifier so that people who already know you can recognize you, invite you, or coordinate events with you in VerbinderApp.

If you grant contacts permission, VerbinderApp may access contacts stored on your device. This may include names, phone numbers, and related contact information.

We store contacts on our servers as reference information to provide the contact-related features of the service. This allows VerbinderApp to help you find people you already know, select invitees, identify contacts who use VerbinderApp, and support phone-number-based scheduling.

We use contacts information to:

  • show your contacts inside VerbinderApp;
  • help you choose people to invite to events or time polls;
  • identify which of your contacts are already using VerbinderApp;
  • make invitation and scheduling flows easier;
  • help avoid manual entry of phone numbers;
  • help you understand who an invitation is from or who an event participant is;
  • provide contact-based functionality that is central to VerbinderApp.

VerbinderApp does not sell your contacts. VerbinderApp does not use your contacts for targeted advertising. VerbinderApp does not allow unrelated third parties to use your contacts to market to you or to your contacts.

4.3 Information about non-users in your contacts

Your address book may contain information about people who do not use VerbinderApp. If you grant contacts permission, we may process and store limited information about those non-users, such as their names and phone numbers as stored on your device, to provide contact-based scheduling functionality.

We use this information to help you select invitees, send invitations, identify whether a phone number corresponds to a VerbinderApp account, and provide the contact features of VerbinderApp.

We do not create public profiles for non-users. We do not sell non-user contact information. We do not use non-user contact information for targeted advertising.

4.4 VerbinderApp event and time poll information

  • event or poll title;
  • proposed times;
  • selected or preferred times;
  • creator information;
  • participant names and phone numbers;
  • participant responses;
  • acceptance, decline, tentative, or pending status;
  • messages or notes included with an invitation;
  • timestamps showing when invitations were created, sent, delivered, updated, accepted, declined, or expired;
  • metadata needed to route invitations and keep event state synchronized.

We use this information to deliver invitations, show event status, coordinate participants, support time polls, prevent duplicate or conflicting flows, and provide the core scheduling functionality of VerbinderApp.

4.5 External calendar information

VerbinderApp can integrate with external calendars, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and calendars available on your device.

These integrations are handled locally on your device. VerbinderApp does not upload your external calendar events, external calendar lists, Google Calendar content, Apple Calendar content, or device calendar content to VerbinderApp servers.

Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, VerbinderApp may access external calendar information locally on your device, such as:

  • calendar names;
  • calendar identifiers;
  • calendar colors;
  • event title;
  • event description or notes;
  • event start and end time;
  • recurrence rules;
  • location;
  • event participants and invitees;
  • invitation status;
  • reminders;

4.6 Device calendar information

If you grant local calendar permission on your device, VerbinderApp may access calendar data stored on or made available through your device's calendar system.

We use device calendar access locally on your device to:

  • show existing events while you schedule;
  • help you avoid conflicts;
  • allow you to save VerbinderApp events to selected calendars, if you choose to do so;
  • update or remove events that VerbinderApp created in a device calendar, where supported and permitted.

VerbinderApp does not upload your device calendar data to VerbinderApp servers. VerbinderApp does not use your device calendar data for targeted advertising. VerbinderApp does not sell device calendar data.

4.7 Google Calendar information

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, VerbinderApp may request access to Google user data through Google OAuth. The exact permissions requested depend on the features you use and should match the scopes shown on the Google OAuth consent screen.

VerbinderApp may request access to the following Google Calendar scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonlyto view the list of calendars available in your Google account locally on your device, so you can choose which calendars VerbinderApp should display or use.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.eventsto create, read, update, or delete events in calendars you select, where this is needed to provide event creation, invitation acceptance, event updates, or event management features.

Google Calendar integration is handled locally on your device. VerbinderApp does not upload Google Calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.

VerbinderApp uses Google Calendar data only to provide user-facing calendar and scheduling features, such as displaying availability, showing calendar choices, saving accepted events, creating events, updating events created through VerbinderApp, preventing scheduling conflicts, and helping you manage invitations.

VerbinderApp does not use Google Calendar data for advertising. VerbinderApp does not sell Google Calendar data. VerbinderApp does not use Google Calendar data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. VerbinderApp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.8 Apple Calendar and iOS calendar information

If you use VerbinderApp on iOS and grant calendar permission, VerbinderApp may access calendar data through Apple's calendar permission system.

Apple Calendar integration is handled locally on your device. VerbinderApp does not upload Apple Calendar or iOS calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.

We use this information locally to:

  • display calendar availability;
  • help you choose when to schedule;
  • allow you to save VerbinderApp events to selected calendars;
  • update or remove events that VerbinderApp created, where supported and permitted.

VerbinderApp does not use Apple Calendar or iOS calendar information for targeted advertising and does not sell this information.

4.9 Messages, notes, and communication content

If you include messages, notes, comments, or invitation text in VerbinderApp events or time polls, we may process and store that content as part of the event or time poll.

We use this content only to provide the event, invitation, time poll, and coordination features of VerbinderApp. We do not use private event content, invitation notes, or communication content for targeted advertising.

4.10 Support communications

If you contact us for support, we may collect:

  • your name;
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • account identifiers;
  • device information you provide;
  • screenshots, logs, or descriptions you provide;
  • the contents of your support request;
  • our responses and support history.

We use this information to respond to your request, troubleshoot problems, improve the service, and maintain records of support interactions.

4.11 Device, app, and technical information

When you use VerbinderApp, we may collect limited technical information needed to operate and maintain the service, such as:

  • device model;
  • operating system and version;
  • app version;
  • language settings;
  • device identifiers or installation identifiers;
  • crash logs;
  • diagnostic logs.

We do not currently collect time zone, mobile network information, or performance data. Like most online services, basic technical connection information, such as IP address, may be processed temporarily by our hosting infrastructure to deliver, secure, and operate the service, but we do not use IP addresses for targeted advertising or sell them.

We use technical information to provide the service, fix bugs, improve reliability, and troubleshoot issues.

4.12 Website information and cookies

When you visit the VerbinderApp website, we may process basic website information necessary to operate the site, respond to requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

If we use cookies or similar technologies on the website, we will provide any notices and choices required by applicable law.

5. Permissions we request and why

5.1 Contacts permission

We request contacts permission to help you find people you already know, invite them to events or time polls, identify which contacts are using VerbinderApp, and make phone-number-based scheduling easier.

You can deny contacts permission. If you deny it, you may still be able to use parts of VerbinderApp, but features such as contact selection, contact discovery, and easier participant identification may be limited.

You can revoke contacts permission through your device settings. If you revoke permission, VerbinderApp will stop accessing your device contacts from that point forward, although previously stored contact reference information may remain where necessary to provide the service, maintain invitation history, protect security, comply with legal obligations, or complete deletion processes.

5.2 Calendar permission

We request calendar permission to show your availability locally on your device, display calendars during event creation or acceptance, detect potential scheduling conflicts, and save VerbinderApp events to calendars you choose.

You can deny calendar permission. If you deny it, you may still use parts of VerbinderApp, but calendar aggregation, conflict checking, and external calendar writing may not work.

You can revoke calendar permission through your device settings or disconnect a third-party calendar account inside VerbinderApp, where supported.

5.3 Notification permission

We request notification permission to send event reminders, invitation updates, time poll updates, participant responses, account alerts, and important service messages.

You can disable notifications through your device settings or app settings. If notifications are disabled, you may miss time-sensitive scheduling updates.

5.4 Camera and photo permission

VerbinderApp may request camera or photo library permission for features such as profile photos, QR codes, event attachments, or image sharing. We use this permission only for the specific feature you choose to use.

6. How we use personal data

We use personal data for the following purposes.

6.1 To provide VerbinderApp

We process personal data to:

  • create and authenticate accounts;
  • verify phone numbers;
  • display contacts;
  • identify VerbinderApp users among your contacts;
  • create, send, receive, accept, decline, and manage event invitations;
  • create and manage time polls;
  • display calendar availability locally on your device;
  • write events to calendars you choose;
  • synchronize event status across participants;
  • send notifications and reminders;
  • provide customer support.

6.2 To connect users by phone number

VerbinderApp uses phone numbers to help users find and coordinate with people they already know. This phone-number-based model allows users to schedule across devices and calendar providers without needing to know which calendar app or operating system another person uses.

6.3 To provide contact-based functionality

We store contacts as reference information so VerbinderApp can provide contact selection, contact discovery, participant identification, and invitation functionality.

6.4 To show calendar availability and prevent conflicts

When you grant calendar access, VerbinderApp may process calendar data locally on your device to show when you are busy or free while creating or accepting events. This allows you to make scheduling decisions without manually checking multiple calendar apps.

6.5 To save and synchronize events

If you choose to save a VerbinderApp event to another calendar, VerbinderApp uses local calendar access or the relevant calendar integration on your device to create or update that event in the calendar you choose.

For example, accepting an invitation in VerbinderApp may allow you to add the event to your device calendar, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or another supported calendar. This action is performed locally through the relevant calendar integration and is not uploaded to VerbinderApp servers as external calendar data.

6.6 To secure and maintain the service

We use personal data where necessary to:

  • prevent misuse of the service;
  • investigate abuse reports;
  • protect user accounts;
  • enforce our terms;
  • maintain the reliability of the service;
  • protect the rights, property, and safety of VerbinderApp, users, and others.

6.7 To improve VerbinderApp

We may use support requests, user feedback, crash logs, diagnostic logs, and general feature usage information to fix bugs, improve usability, and develop better scheduling features.

6.8 To communicate with you

We may contact you about:

  • account verification;
  • event invitations and scheduling updates;
  • important account or service notices;
  • support responses;
  • changes to our terms or policies.

6.9 To comply with law

We may process personal data to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, regulatory obligations, court orders, or legal processes.

7. Legal bases for processing under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region with similar data protection laws, we rely on the following legal bases.

7.1 Contract necessity

We process personal data where necessary to provide VerbinderApp under our Terms of Service. This includes account creation, phone number verification, contact-based functionality, event invitations, calendar coordination, time polls, synchronization, and customer support.

7.2 Consent

We rely on consent where required, including for optional permissions such as contacts, calendar access, notifications, camera or photos, and third-party calendar integrations.

You may withdraw consent at any time through app settings, device settings, account settings, or by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

7.3 Legitimate interests

We may process personal data based on legitimate interests, such as maintaining the service, preventing misuse, improving the product, troubleshooting issues, responding to support requests, and communicating about important service changes, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

7.4 Legal obligation

We may process personal data where necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as data protection, consumer protection, accounting, regulatory, or lawful request obligations.

8. How contact discovery works

VerbinderApp may compare phone numbers from your address book with registered VerbinderApp phone numbers to show which contacts are already available in VerbinderApp.

Before comparison, phone numbers may be normalized into a consistent format. We store contacts as reference information so the service can provide contact-based scheduling, invitation, and discovery features.

Contact discovery is used only to provide user-facing VerbinderApp functionality. We do not use contact discovery to create advertising profiles. We do not sell contact-discovery data.

9. How calendar integration works

VerbinderApp supports calendar coordination while keeping external calendar data local to your device.

9.1 VerbinderApp calendar records

VerbinderApp stores event, invitation, and time poll records created or received inside VerbinderApp. These records are necessary for the core service and may remain available in VerbinderApp even if you do not connect an external calendar.

9.2 Device calendar

If you grant permission, VerbinderApp may read calendars available on your device and, where you choose, write VerbinderApp events to selected calendars. This is handled locally on your device.

9.3 Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, VerbinderApp uses Google OAuth so you can authorize access without giving VerbinderApp your Google password.

Google Calendar access is used locally on your device to:

  • list calendars you can choose from;
  • show events or availability;
  • create events;
  • update events created or managed by VerbinderApp;
  • delete or remove events created or managed by VerbinderApp, where requested;
  • support event coordination and conflict checking.

VerbinderApp does not upload Google Calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.

9.4 Apple Calendar and iCloud calendars

On Apple devices, VerbinderApp may access calendar data through Apple's calendar permission system. Depending on your device configuration, this may include iCloud calendars and other calendars synchronized to the device.

This access is handled locally on your device. VerbinderApp does not upload Apple Calendar or iCloud calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.

9.5 Other calendar providers

If VerbinderApp supports other calendar providers in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed to explain what data is accessed, how access works, and how users can disconnect the integration.

10. Google API data use disclosure

When VerbinderApp accesses Google user data, we follow these commitments:

  1. We access Google user data only with your authorization.
  2. We request only the Google OAuth scopes needed to provide the user-facing features described in this policy.
  3. Google Calendar integration is handled locally on your device.
  4. We do not upload Google Calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.
  5. We use Google Calendar data only for scheduling, calendar display, calendar selection, event creation, event updates, event synchronization, conflict checking, reminders, troubleshooting, and support related to your use of VerbinderApp.
  6. We do not use Google Calendar data for targeted advertising.
  7. We do not sell Google Calendar data.
  8. We do not use Google Calendar data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
  9. We do not allow humans to read Google Calendar data because it is not uploaded to VerbinderApp servers.
  10. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Sharing of personal data

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only in limited circumstances.

11.1 With other VerbinderApp users

We share information with other users as necessary for scheduling and event coordination. For example:

  • your display name and phone number may be visible to people you invite or who invite you;
  • event creators may see your response status;
  • participants may see event details and participant lists;
  • time poll participants may see proposed times and, depending on the feature design, participant responses;
  • users may see whether you are a VerbinderApp user if they have your phone number and use contact discovery.

11.2 With service providers

VerbinderApp UG currently hosts its services on Amazon Web Services, with services hosted in Europe.

AWS provides cloud hosting and infrastructure services that allow VerbinderApp UG to operate securely and reliably. Personal data stored by VerbinderApp, such as account data, contact reference information, VerbinderApp events, invitations, and time poll data, may be processed through AWS infrastructure for the purpose of providing the service.

We require service providers to process personal data only for the purposes of providing services to VerbinderApp and under appropriate confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.

11.3 With calendar providers and platforms

When you use local calendar features, data may be exchanged locally between VerbinderApp and the calendar provider or device platform as necessary to complete the action you request.

For example, if you save an accepted VerbinderApp event to Google Calendar, the event is sent from your device to Google through the authorized Google Calendar integration. VerbinderApp does not upload that Google Calendar data to VerbinderApp servers.

11.4 For legal reasons

We may disclose personal data if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or legal process;
  • respond to lawful requests from public authorities;
  • enforce our Terms of Service;
  • investigate misuse, security issues, or abuse;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of VerbinderApp, users, or others.

11.5 Business transfers

If VerbinderApp is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data remains protected and that you are notified where required by law.

11.6 With your consent

We may share personal data for other purposes if you give us consent.

12. International data transfers

VerbinderApp currently hosts its services through AWS in Europe.

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another relevant jurisdiction, we will use appropriate safeguards where required by law. These may include Standard Contractual Clauses, data processing agreements, technical safeguards, and supplementary measures where required.

13. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data.

13.1 Account data

We retain account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account data within a reasonable period, unless retention is necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, misuse prevention, or legitimate operational purposes.

13.2 Phone number and contact reference data

We retain your phone number while your account is active. We retain contact reference information as needed to provide contact discovery, invitation, participant identification, and other contact-based functionality.

If you revoke contacts permission, VerbinderApp will stop accessing your device contacts going forward. Previously stored contact reference information may remain where necessary to provide the service, maintain invitation history, protect against misuse, comply with law, or complete deletion processes.

13.3 VerbinderApp event and invitation data

VerbinderApp event, invitation, and time poll data may be retained while events are active and for a reasonable period afterward to preserve event history, allow participants to view past events, support troubleshooting, and maintain service integrity.

13.4 External calendar data

VerbinderApp does not upload Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or device calendar data to VerbinderApp servers. External calendar data is processed locally on your device for the calendar features you choose to use.

If you disconnect an external calendar integration or revoke calendar permission, VerbinderApp stops accessing that calendar going forward.

13.5 Support data

Support communications may be retained as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, improve the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

13.6 Logs and diagnostics

Crash logs and diagnostic logs may be retained for a reasonable period to troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and maintain service reliability.

13.7 Backups

Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups are overwritten or deleted according to our backup schedule. During this period, backup data is protected and not used for ordinary business purposes.

14. Your choices and controls

14.1 App permissions

You can control contacts, calendar, notifications, camera, and photo permissions through your device settings.

14.2 Calendar connection settings

Where supported, you can choose which calendars VerbinderApp may display, check for conflicts, or write events to. You can disconnect third-party calendar accounts through VerbinderApp settings or through the third-party provider's account security settings.

14.3 Google account access

You can revoke VerbinderApp's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions page. After revocation, VerbinderApp will no longer be able to access your Google Calendar through Google APIs unless you reconnect it.

14.4 Notifications

You can manage or disable notifications through device settings or VerbinderApp settings. If notifications are disabled, you may miss time-sensitive scheduling updates.

14.5 Account deletion

You can delete your account directly inside the app. To delete your account, open:

Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account

You will be asked to confirm your choice before the deletion is completed.

Deleting your account may delete or anonymize your personal data, subject to legal, operational, backup, and legitimate retention needs described in this Privacy Policy.

15. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

  • access personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • delete personal data;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@verbinderapp.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

16. Additional rights for EEA, UK, and Swiss users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may contact us to exercise your rights under applicable data protection law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our legal bases for processing are described in Section 7.

17. Additional rights for California and other U.S. state residents

Depending on your U.S. state of residence, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of certain types of data sharing, targeted advertising, or sale.

VerbinderApp does not sell personal data. VerbinderApp does not use contacts, calendar data, Google Calendar data, Apple Calendar data, device calendar data, or event content for targeted advertising.

To exercise rights, contact privacy@verbinderapp.com.

18. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including:

  • encryption in transit;
  • access controls;
  • authentication controls;
  • secure token handling;
  • secure development practices;
  • vulnerability management;
  • backup protection;
  • confidentiality obligations where applicable.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect personal data using reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved.

If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us at support@verbinderapp.com or privacy@verbinderapp.com.

19. Human access to user data

VerbinderApp personnel do not access your personal data unless access is necessary for one of the following purposes:

  • providing support you requested;
  • troubleshooting technical issues;
  • investigating misuse or abuse;
  • complying with legal obligations;
  • enforcing our terms;
  • protecting rights, property, or safety.

Because Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and device calendar integrations are handled locally on your device, VerbinderApp personnel do not have access to your external calendar content through VerbinderApp servers.

20. Automated decision-making

VerbinderApp does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

We may use automated systems to support service functionality, such as identifying contacts, routing invitations, synchronizing event status, detecting duplicate actions, or identifying technical errors.

21. Artificial intelligence and machine learning

VerbinderApp does not use your contacts, calendar data, Google Calendar data, Apple Calendar data, device calendar data, private messages, or event content to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

If VerbinderApp introduces AI features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed before using personal data for those features.

22. Advertising

VerbinderApp does not use your contacts, address book, calendar data, Google Calendar data, Apple Calendar data, device calendar data, event content, invitation content, or private messages for targeted advertising.

VerbinderApp does not sell your personal data.

23. Public information and visibility

VerbinderApp is designed for coordination between people. Some information may be visible to other users depending on how you use the service:

  • your phone number may be visible to users who already have it or who participate in events with you;
  • your display name and profile photo may be visible to invitees, event creators, participants, or contacts;
  • your response status may be visible to event creators or participants;
  • event details may be visible to participants;
  • time poll responses may be visible depending on poll settings.

You should avoid including sensitive information in event titles, descriptions, locations, notes, or messages unless you are comfortable sharing that information with the relevant participants and calendar providers.

24. Data accuracy

Because VerbinderApp may rely on information from your device contacts and calendars, the accuracy of some information depends on the data stored on your device or in connected accounts. You are responsible for keeping your own contact and calendar information accurate.

25. Third-party services

VerbinderApp may interact with third-party services and platforms when necessary to provide the service, including:

  • Google Calendar;
  • Apple Calendar and iCloud Calendar;
  • device calendar frameworks;
  • push notification services;
  • phone verification services;
  • AWS cloud infrastructure.

Third-party services process personal data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies and manage your privacy settings with each provider.

26. Disconnecting integrations

You can disconnect supported integrations through VerbinderApp settings or the third-party provider's account settings.

Disconnecting an integration stops future access. Because external calendar integrations are handled locally on your device and external calendar data is not uploaded to VerbinderApp servers, disconnecting the integration prevents VerbinderApp from continuing to access that external calendar data through the app.

For Google Calendar, you can also revoke VerbinderApp access from your Google Account permissions page.

27. Account deletion and data deletion

You can delete your account directly inside VerbinderApp:

Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account

You will be asked to confirm your choice before the deletion is completed.

When you delete your account:

  • your account profile is deleted or anonymized;
  • your phone number is removed from active account lookup, subject to legal, operational, and misuse-prevention retention needs;
  • future contact discovery should no longer show you as an active VerbinderApp user;
  • your future access to events and invitations may stop;
  • event records involving other participants may remain visible to those participants where necessary to preserve their event history;
  • data in backups may remain until backup expiration;
  • some records may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, operational integrity, dispute resolution, or misuse prevention.

You can also contact privacy@verbinderapp.com for privacy-related deletion questions.

28. Data portability

Where required by law, you may request a copy of personal data associated with your account in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

Certain data may be excluded where disclosure would affect the rights and freedoms of others, reveal security-sensitive information, or conflict with legal obligations.

29. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
